An air filter differential pressure switch is a differential pressure switch installed in the air duct, it is a protective device, when the system works, the pressure remains unchanged, if there is a fault or leakage in the system, the valve can be cut off to ensure the safe operation of the system.
1. Installation method of differential pressure switch: when installed in the air duct, a flange connection is used between the valve and the valve seat.
2. Use of differential pressure switch:
(1) When the system works, the pressure in the duct always remains unchanged;
(2) When the valve is closed, the pressure in the air duct is greater than the pressure in the valve, the valve is closed. When the pressure in the valve is equal to the pressure in the air duct, the valve opens;
(4) When there is a fault or leakage in the system, the valve can be cut off.
Air filter differential pressure switch before installation preparation
1. Before installation, check and remove foreign matter in the air duct, and check and remove dust in the air duct, so as not to affect the normal operation of the valve.
2. Grease must be applied to the seat before installation.
3. Check whether the valve, valve body, and pipeline are firmly connected to avoid affecting the normal operation of the valve.
4. Before installation, connect the mounting bracket with the flange, and tighten the flange bolt on the valve body to ensure the normal operation of the valve group.
5. When installing, it must be noted that the gasket between the seat and the valve body must be filled with sealing grease between the seat and the valve body.
6. After installation, the valve stem, connecting flange, gasket, and sealing grease must be checked and confirmed to be completely sealed to ensure the valve’s normal use.
7. A certain distance should be maintained between the valve and the pipeline to avoid the pipe being squeezed and deformed and affecting the normal work of the valve.
Air filter differential pressure switch precautions
1. Due to the high sensitivity of the differential pressure switch, attention should be paid to the pressure difference before and after the valve during installation to avoid the misoperation of the differential pressure switch due to excessive pressure difference.
2. After installing the differential pressure switch, it is necessary to ensure good sealing between the stem, valve core, and valve seat to avoid air leakage.
3. Because the differential pressure switch is installed in the air duct, it is necessary to pay attention not to make it suffer from the impact and collision of external forces when used, so as not to damage the valve or affect its function.
4. When using a differential pressure switch, pay attention to check whether it is working normally, to avoid the phenomenon of excessive pressure and misoperation of the valve.
5. When the differential pressure switch fails, it should be repaired or replaced in time. At the same time, we should also pay attention to checking the resistance of the duct system, so as not to cause unnecessary waste.
