A gas collecting box for a pneumatic liquid level detection device includes a box body and a vent pipe connected to the box body; the box body is a hollow structure, an opening is present in the area enclosed by the part in contact with the vent pipe, a water inlet is provided on the bottom surface, and other parts of the box body are closed structures except for the water inlet and the opening; the vent pipe is located higher than the bottom surface of the box body, and the vent pipe is connected to the air pressure conduit of the pneumatic liquid level detection device; when the pneumatic liquid level detection device detects the liquid level of a container, the box body is placed in the container, and the vent pipe extends to the outside of the container through the vent pipe on the side wall of the container, and the position of the vent pipe is higher than the highest water level in the container. Since the vent pipe is higher than the highest water level, even if the detection device leaks, the water level in the box body will be lower than the position of the vent pipe, and water cannot flow from the vent pipe into the pneumatic liquid level switch of the detection device, thereby avoiding the problem of failure of the pneumatic liquid level switch due to gas leakage.
